How Is Spider Vein Treatment Performed?

During the procedure, a technician will direct the laser onto the varicose vein while cooling the skin with a chilled hand piece. The heat of the laser works to cut off the vein’s blood supply. Several treatments are required for optimal results, and each treatment lasts about 20 minutes. Laser vein treatments require little recovery time, and discomfort during the procedure is minimal; however, patients who are concerned can request a topical anesthetic, and our technician will prep the area before the procedure is performed.
